George Lekakos
Dr. George Lekakos is Assistant Professor at the Department of Management Science and Technology, Athens University of Economics and Business, Athens, Greece. He leads the Intelligent Media Lab (IML), a research group within the ELTRUN Research Center (http://www.www.eltrun.gr) at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB). Before his current position, Dr Lekakos was Assistant Professor of e-Business at the Department of Information and Communication Systems, University of the Aegean, Greece. He is member of the teaching staff at the Greek Open University. During the previous years he worked in adjunct and visiting teaching positions at the Department of Computer Science, University of Cyprus, and the Department of Digital Systems, University of Piraeus, Greece.

Konstantinos Pazalos
Dr. Konstantinos Pazalos works as Senior ERP Project Manager in a world - leading group of companies providing mobile marketing and advertising solutions. He holds a PhD in "Information Systems Evaluation" from the University of the Aegean, a MSc in "IT, Management and Organizational Change" from Lancaster University and a BSc in Business Administration from the University of Piraeus. He has led/participated in numerous academic and professional projects in the field of ERP implementation, Information Systems and E-Services Evaluation, Performance Measurement and Improvement, and Business Process Reengineering. His academic work includes more than 15 journal and conference publications.


Foteini Michailidou

Foteini Michailidou holds a Bachelor Degree from the University of Aegean, Department of Information and Communication Systems Engineering. Currently she is  a PhD candidate in the University of Aegean, Department of Information and Communication Systems Engineering in the area of  ERP Systems Value.
 
Ioakim Sapounas
Dr. Ioakim Sapounas works as a Financial Management Specialist in the Hellenic Telecommunications Organization S.A. He holds a Ph.D. in Information Systems (University of the Aegean, Greece), a European M.Sc. in Total Quality Management and a B.Sc. in Economics (University of Piraeus, Greece). His research interests include information systems investment, business value and complementary factors. He has published several journal and conference papers in the above areas.

Alexandros Xenakis
Dr. Alexandros Xenakis belongs to the new academic interdisciplinary field that results from the applications of information and communication technologies in economics and society.He is an Economist, Political Scientist and his Doctoral thesis ‘Electronic voting in the United Kingdom’ was supervised by Professor Ann Macintosh (Professor of digital governance) at Edinburgh Napier University. He teaches in the Department of Economics in the University of Crete as an adjunct lecturer. He has taken part in European research projects in the area of e-participation, has been a reviewer for FP7 in the SSH programme and an expert Consultant for the Hellenic Ministry of Electronic Governance.

Georgios Katsikogiannis was born in Samos, Greece, in 1965. He graduated from the Agricultural University of Athens in 1991 (Faculty of Crop Science). He also got his Masters Degree (M.Sc.) in Industrial Chemistry (oenology), from the Department of Chemistry of the University of Athens, in 2003. From 1993 to 2000 he worked as an agronomist-consultant and from 2000 to today he works as an agronomist (food quality & phytosanitary inspector) at the North Aegean Region (Regional Unit of Samos). He is a member of Hellenic Phytopathological Society and Hellenic Entomological Society. His research interests are in fields of agrochemicals effect in wine-making (fungicides inhibition in wine yeasts) and of the development of insecticide resistance on olive fruit fly (Bactrocera oleae). His collaboration with the Information Systems Laboratory is related with the promotion of the local Samian agricultural products, under the framework of the "Samiki Gi" initiative.

Nikolaos Bratsiotis
Dr. Nikolaos Bratsiotis holds a Ph.D. in International Relations  (University of Reading UK), an MA in European Studies (University of Reading, UK) and  a BA in Political Sciences: University of Athens. He has taught Political Economy at the University of Malmo, Sweden. Research interests include migration into the European Union, minority issues, international political theory and philosophy of social sciences.

Kostas Drakas
Kostas Drakas is Business and IT Consultant, holding a Computer Engineering Bsc and an MBA. During his professional career, he has managed departments and business units of companies, up to the level of General Manager, in Greece and the USA.  He has distinctive experience in promoting products, solutions and services in the e-business/e-government field, having been responsible for large contracts of several million Euros. He has thorough knowledge of Research and Development Funding Frameworks and has been involved in numerous R&D and other European Union and National funded projects. He has a broad experience in strategic management, human resource management and international markets.

Nikos Kroustalias, is a Senior Systems Analyst. He received formal education in the Mathematics Faculty of the University of Athens and the University of Strathclyde, Msc in Information Technology Systems (Glasgow-Scotland). He is a full member of the Digital Government Society of North America, and is committed to citizen centric e-Government and New Government initiatives in Europe and abroad. In his programming capacity as one of the pioneer programmers in the ORACLE RDBMS ecosystem, he has led major IT (Software) projects in the Private Sector. With a career switch from IT systems to the analysis and restructuring of Municipal Enterprises, followed by servicing the position of the technical manager of “THESEAS”, the most elaborate ever development program for the Greek Local Government (budget 3.5 b. €) from 2004 to 2009, he was then excited of the potential of the Social Care Enterprises as a dynamic Financial Entity of a New Economy. He collaborates in business with the Lamberhurst Corporation, a management consultancy UK firm as well as with the Institute of Consulting, UK for the assessment and commercialization of new business ventures.

stasis448x300 Antonis Ch. Stasis
Antonis Ch. Stasis is the Head of the Directorate of Procurement, Infrastructure & Material Management in the Hellenic Ministry of Interior and Administrative Reconstruction. He has a PhD degree as Computer Engineer from the National Technical University of Athens. His is responsible in the Ministry for structural funds programs and especially for e-Government and Administration reform. He is responsible for projects such as codification of legislation, implementation of eIDAS regulation in Greece, electronic document management and digital signatures. He is also the national representative in the ISA program committee regarding interoperability issues. He was one of the main contributors to the Greek Interoperability framework. Moreover he is responsible in the Ministry for European projects such STORK2 project, E-SENS project and open data projects. He has also participated in the drafting of the Greek e-government strategy and action plan. He was also involved in the implementation of horizontal e-government projects such as the Public Administration Network, the Greek Government Portal (ERMIS), the Point of Single Contact, and the Public Key Infrastructure.
